I got up early today to film and edit a yoga video for anxiety, but it's taking a really long time to upload, so in the meantime I thought I'd post about this post workout shake I love. ​This tastes really good, and is a clean alternative to the sugar-heavy shake mixes out there.
Ingredients​
1/2 banana
3 ice cubes
1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (I used almond milk)​
1 scoop quality whey protein powder ​(buy something with low carbs and low sugars)
1 scoop greens powder (I love this brand)​
1 date, pitted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Throw everything into a blender and blend on high until you get a smoothie consistency. Drink and thrive.​
