Anyone a fan of core work? Of course you're not, why would I even bother asking?!
Anyway, today I've got a video that will help with core strength, and I know that core work is a mostly miserable experience, but I encourage you to approach it in the same way you do the push up parties - with a positive attitude and a 'yes I can!' attitude. Then, go slay, my friends!
Core strengthening is huge for all sorts of reasons. It's fantastic for supporting the low back and improving posture in general. It's great to prevent injury, and will also help with things like arm balances, if those are in your repertoire.
For this video you will need to have a yoga block. I think the heavier the block, the better, so if you have the option, I would choose a cork or wooden block. You could also use a weight or kettlebell if you happen to have one of those hanging around. Let me know how it goes for you down in the comments below!
