Ok, friends! We're now officially past the half-way point of the 15 Day Namaslay Hip Opening Yoga Program. I'm so glad you've been enjoying it and am open to hearing your suggestions for future programs! The three poses we are working with in this short hip opening sequence aim to open up the hamstrings and outer hips.
A) Begin with a gentle warm up.
B) Start your practice either by following along here or tuning into the exclusive section of the YogaByCandace App (iTunes/Google Play) to have me talk you through the flow! If you have a copy of Namaslay, I've put the page numbers for where you can find the poses if you need further clarification.
1. Half spinal twist (p172 in Namaslay)
2. Seated forward fold (p29 in Namaslay shows how to use a block for modification, p85-86 shows the pose plus how to use a yoga strap to modify)
3. Heron pose (p174 in Namaslay)
