Ciao from Italy, my friends! It's been a jet-lagged filled week with a bit of stress on the side! You'll notice that Thursday's outfit is missing. That's because yesterday I left my phone in an Uber in Munich, and it was an absolute nightmare trying to sort that out. I'd sign in from Lauren's phone or my computer and it wouldn't recognize the device and kept trying to send me an SMS text with a code that I'd need to enter. The only problem - minor detail - is that obviously I didn't have my phone to receive the text, and you might be surprised to find out that Uber doesn't have a call line! I tweeted them, DM'd them, and they were zero help. Finally, I was able to somehow sign in without it requiring the code, and I was able to get in touch with the driver. Although, again, minor detail - my German is crap, and he didn't speak English, so I needed to figure that out. Shout out to the woman at the front desk of my hotel who was helpful in speaking with him, translating everything, and then allowing me to use her cell phone for the entire conversation. Anyway, hours later, we were able to connect and get the phone, and all is well. From there, Lauren and I were finally able to get on the road and drive to Bolzano, Italy because today is day one of our retreat! Our students arrive later today, and right now we are downtown running some last minute errands to welcome them. I'm so excited - this retreat is one of my favorite locations because the food is fantastic, the people are kind, the weather is great, and the yoga set up is ideal. I can't wait to share more on Stories at YBCevents! Have a great weekend, everyone!
