Motivation Monday is a weekly series on YBC® where we'll unveil that week's podcast episode of Namaslay® with YogaByCandace®, a few inspirational uplifting or interesting bits from around the web, and new books, finds and other goodies our team is loving.
It’s here! The brand new season of the Namaslay® podcast debuts today! This season we're thrilled to bring you interviews with experts in the health, wellness and entrepreneurship worlds, starting with our first guest, The “Glute Guy,” Bret Contreras. I was so excited to speak with Bret about the inspiration for his training programs, books, and signature techniques that have helped so many people, including me, build glute strength and balance lifting routines for optimal movement. Bret is a teacher, innovator, personal trainer, international lecturer, best selling author, lifter, inventor and researcher. Best known for his glute training methods, Bret has established himself as the world's leading expert in glueteal muscle functioning and development, strength training and program design. In addition to developing a comprehensive glute training system, Bret discovered and popularized the barbell hip thruster exercise and invented the hip thruster and the scorcher. He owns and operates the Glute Lab Gym in San Diego, California and continues to publish articles and coach clients remotely on his website. His newest book, Glute Lab, comes out this month, so be sure to preorder today!
If you enjoy exercising or are learning more about functional fitness to complement your daily life, be sure to tune in! Season 5, Episode 1 of the Namaslay® Podcast is available on iTunes, Google Play, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts. Or, you can also listen here. And if you have a second, would you mind taking this survey? We just want to get some demographics about who's listening to the podcast. Thanks!

After our interview, I’m excited to dive in to Bret’s book, Glute Lab: The Art and Science of Strength and Physique Training.
It’s a busy time for me, so I’ve been focusing on my sleep routines to stave off adrenal fatigue with the help of Caroline Potter’s workshop in this bundle of health and wellness programs. They’re having a crazy sale this week where you can get over $5,000 worth of health and wellness resources for just $99.
I usually use leftover veggies in my morning egg scramble. I love these tips for using leftover dinner for tomorrow’s lunch.
I appreciated reading these words from Jameela Jamil on self worth under the public eye.
If you’re thinking of changing your ‘do for fall, read this first.
Bring your mind into your body with this technique before you practice yoga and meditation.
This reminder to be kind and take time to do the little things made me smile.
