Hello from the gorgeous Cycladic Greek island of Sifnos! Our days have been perfectly balanced with two yoga practices per day and a whole lot of nothing else. People are choosing what's best for them - some are renting a car and headed off to explore, while others are grabbing their books and hitting the pool here at the resort. I've been doing a lot of the latter, just going easy on my ankle which seems to be getting better every day. There's still a bit of swelling around the actual ankle bone itself, but other than that, my nasty bruise is going down and it feels overall really good - just a bit stiff maybe from all the travel. Overall, I'm just so grateful to be doing so well.
Today's post is part four of our Acro Yoga series. I unwrapped my ankle for this, which we shot a about a week ago, and you can see that ugly bruise if you look close enough!
Anyway, this partner backbend takes a serious about of trust. Be sure you both have watched and understood the video before giving it a try and don't forget to warm up - especially if you're the flyer. You'll want to do some chest opening before popping into this.
