*Heads up: We just launched the YBC Yoga Forum, a place where health conscious people are coming together to talk about everything from pigeon pose to playlists. Come on over! We'd love to connect with you!
Hello from Berlin, Germany! It's been a whirlwind of a day, but one of the best kinds - where you're tired from all the activity but feel totally happy and grateful. Tomorrow I'm teaching a private specialized workshop (chair yoga! Gonna be cool!) and so tonight I'm staying at the beautiful Adlon Hotel. They've given me a stunning suite with a gorgeous view, and I filmed this Morning Meditation and Wake up Yoga Video when I checked in.
I made it with the intention of just having a great day. It's best to do as soon as you wake up - before you eat breakfast, even. I find that whenever I meditate first thing in the morning, before I've spoken my first word of the day, I just feel so much better. It's like the foundation for a great day has been set. So I hope that's what it brings you, too. It's ten minutes long, starting with a meditation, then moves into a gentle bit of stretching to wake up the body, and finishes with a short meditation. Hope you love!
Let's talk When you set an intention during meditation or yoga practice, do you always say the same thing in your head or does it change with each practice? I generally change with each practice, though my themes are the same. Peace, strength, courage, kindness.
