My favorite style of yoga is a vinyasa without a mat. I love that I don't feel constrained by the mat, and have an open space to create a meditation of movement in motion. Usually I'll just turn on a favorite playlist and flow without any plans or focus - just doing whatever poses come naturally.
This 20 minute no mat creative yoga sequence is appropriate for people new to vinyasa. It begins with a centering and then moves into a flow that focuses on opening up the hips - the inner thighs in particular - and ends with a everyone's favorite - savasana. I hope you enjoy!
