A few weekends ago I was in Baltimore and while there, I thought I'd shoot a short in-bed yoga video (BTS here) with the goal of honing in on the neck, shoulder and arm area. After hours walking around the convention center for an expo, my shoulders were killing me, so I put together this little sequence and hope you'll enjoy it!

We'll start with a short guided centering. Then, we move into gentle twists with side body stretches, and gentle neck stretches. From there, we begin working with the arms, focusing on the armpit area, triceps and sides of the shoulders. 8 Yoga Poses for Neck and Shoulders

One of the most important lessons I learned in yoga teacher training is that everything in the body is connected. Therefore, when my neck hurts, it's usually not something in my neck, but rather something in my shoulders or upper back that's triggering it. Keeping this in mind, I've put together eight yoga poses for the neck and shoulders for those times when something in the upper body just feels off.
